Theme: Green and Cultural Heritage of Malaysia

The FSG UiTM Virtual Summer Program 2021 with an exciting theme, ‘Green and Cultural Heritage of Malaysia’ is designed for students around the world to learn about Malaysia. This program is organized by the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FSG), Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia to develop young people’s international perspective and promote UiTM and Malaysia through its rich cultural heritage and beautiful biodiversity.  Since international trips were brought to an abrupt halt by the Covid-19 pandemic, participants will be entertained with amazing virtual tours of Malaysia’s interesting places and live classes. Participants will receive certificate upon completion.

Summer Program Topics: 

1. Culture of Malaysia: Unravel the Malaysia history, ethnicity, language, religions, festivals, music, dance, crafts, and architectures
2. Malaysian food heritage
3. Malaysian textile heritage
4. Exploring Malaysian biodiversity of flora and fauna, and their amazing ethnomedicinal properties
   
   

Format:

1. Live studies
2. Live excursions

Candidate Requirements: 

1. University Student.
2. Must be proficient in English.
3. Interested in learning Malaysian culture and heritage.
4. Willingness to participate for the entire duration of the program.

Note: E-Certificate provided for participants who attend classes up to 80%.
