Course Overview
The programme prepares students in the science, production and design of textile materials, beginning with understanding fibres, yarns, and fabrics using appropriate technologies. The programme also focuses on engineering apparel and fashion technology, emphasising construction, designing using CAD/CAM software, textile product development, specification, and performance. Students are also introduced to related courses such as merchandising, marketing, costing and retailing to equip them with the world of apparel, clothing, and fashion businesses.
Diploma Graduates
- CGPA 2.0 (UiTM) or CGPA 2.0 (other institutions recognised by Malaysian Government).
Matriculation/Asasi leavers

CPA 2.00 and above - Grade C in any 3 subjects.
STPM/Equivalent leavers

NGMP 2.00 and above - Grade C in any 3 subjects, including Pengajian Am.
Diploma Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) leavers
- CGPA 2.00 and above – SKM Diploma level 4.
APEL
- Pass MQA / 7 years work experience / Pass faculty level interview/ages not less than 21 years old (when applying
