This programme exposes students to the princips/concepts of chemistry as well some insights into the management area. The course also includes industrial training and a final year project. The program is accredated by Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA). The graduates are eligible to be a member of Malaysian Institute of Chemistry (IKM), thus become a licensed chemist. The varies job opportunities are such as chemist, research scientist for R&D, teacher/lecturer, marketing and sales executives and enterpreneurs. Besides, graduates from this programme may pursue their studies in at the post graduate levels in chemistry as well as in other fields apart from chemistry including education, engineering, applied sciences, management and information tehnology.
