Course Overview
This 3.5-year program emphasizes the mastery of fundamental physics concepts and methods in Theoretical and Applied Physics. In order to enhance the graduate employability, students are given the opportunity to choose advanced courses in three different physics areas:
1) Astrophysics and Nanotechnology
2) Sustainable Energy and Photovoltaic
3) Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
In addition, students will also learn programming principles and data mining.
Entry Requirements
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Pass SPM/equivalent with good grades.
- Pass Sejarah (History).
- Credits in Bahasa Melayu/Malaysia at SPM.
- Pass STPM with C (CGPA 2.00) in 3 subjects including Pengajian Am (General Studies) and at least with CGPA 2.00.
- Pass Matriculation SPM/Asasi Sains UM/ ASASIpintar UKM/ Asasi UiTM and at least with CGPA 2.00
- Pass Diploma from higher learning institution that has been recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
- Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 1.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Matriculation KPM/Asasi Sains UiTM/Asasi Sains UM/ ASASIPintar UKM: Gred B- (2.67) in 2 subjects include Phyics and one (1) Gred C (2.00) from the subjects below:-
- Mathematics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- MUET Band 2
UiTM Diploma Graduates
- Diploma in Science and Technology / Engineering: CGPA 2.00
- MUET Band 2
Diploma from higher learning institution that has been recognized by the Government of Malaysia
- Diploma in Science and Technology (Physical)
- Diploma in Engineering (Electric/Electronic/ Mechanical/ Civil and Chemistry)
- Diploma in Technology Polymer
- Diploma in Computer Science from IPT with (2) years working experience in industry.
- MUET Band 2
