Course Overview
Bachelor of Science Sustainable Marine Technology with Honours is a 3-year (6-semester) programme offered at UiTM Perlis Branch that focuses on the sustainable management of marine and aquatic resources through the integration of Industrial 4.0 and Education 5.0 principles. The programme equips students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in mapping, hydrography, GIS and remote sensing, mariculture engineering and technology, as well as port and shipping operations. It emphasizes innovative learning, human-centered education, and hands-on training using modern technologies to enhance problem-solving and professional competencies. Graduates are well prepared for careers in marine science, environmental management, research, and technology-driven maritime industries.
- Pass at SPM level/ equivalent. (credit in Bahasa Melayu and a pass in History subject)
- Pass STPM with at least CGPA 2.00. (Grade C in General Studies)
- Pass Matriculation / Foundation with at least CGPA 2.00. (UITM Foundation / Science Foundation)
- Pass Diploma with at least CGPA 2.00. (UiTM or other university recognized by Malaysia Government)
- Obtained at least Band 2 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
