Notes:

• Each submission will be awarded gold/silver/bronze certificate.
• Participants can compete individually or in groups with a maximum of 4 members.
• An additional fee of RM 20 / USD 5 will be applicable for each additional participant beyond the maximum limit.
• DASAT2025 INNOVATION competition now offers two submission options:
  1. Submit a full video presentation.
  2. Submit an innovation synopsis first. If accepted, you’ll receive an offer to submit a full video later.

• Accepted synopses will be published in an ISBN-registered publication. A synopsis template is attached. Join us and showcase your innovations!

Terms and Regulations for Innovation Competition Event:

1. Eligibility:

• The competition is open to participants from:
  
  • School
    • Primary and Secondary
  • Technical Colleges
    
    • Polytechnic, Vocational College, Matriculation College, Industrial Training Institute (ILP), National Youth Skills Institute (IKBN), Advance Technology Training Centre (ADTEC), GIATMARA, Community College and etc
  • University
    
    • Public & Private University
  • Others
    
    • Other than previous category (i.e: Industry)

•  Participants can compete individually or in groups with a maximum of 4 members.

2. Entry Fees:

• Each entry will be charged a fee of RM 150 / 40 USD per group (maximum 4 participants).
• An additional fee of RM 20 / USD 5 will be applicable for each additional participant beyond the maximum limit.

3. Registration:

• Participants must register online through the official event website.
• The registration period will be announced, and participants must complete their registration within the specified timeframe.

4. Competition Materials:

• Participants must submit the following materials for their entry:
• Video: Link - YouTube / Google Drive

5. Submission:

• All competition materials must be uploaded/submitted via the participant's portal.
• The responsibility for preparing the competition materials lies with the participants.

6. Evaluation:

• Entries will be evaluated by a panel of experts appointed by the event organizers.
• The evaluation process will be conducted based on predetermined criteria and judging guidelines.
• The decisions made by the panel of evaluators will be final.

7. Intellectual Property:

• Participants retain the intellectual property rights to their ideas, projects, or product suggestions.
• However, by participating in the competition, participants grant permission to the event organizers to use and showcase their materials for promotional purposes.

8. Amendments:

• The event secretariat reserves the right to make amendments to any part of the terms and regulations without prior notification to the participants.

9. Deadlines:

• The deadline for submission of entry forms and competition materials will be specified and must be strictly adhered to.

10. Awards and Recognition:

• The top performers in each category will be recognized and awarded during the event.
• Platinum Award (RM 300.00 Best of the best)
• Excellence Award (RM 150.00 for each Categoty)
• Gold Award
• Silver Award
• Bronze Award

The award announcement will be made on a specified date, as mentioned in the event schedule. The recipients will be honored with an online certificate, and no physical medals will be given.

Note: It is important to review and finalize the terms and regulations according to the specific requirements and policies of the innovation competition event.

Innovation Pitch (Video Presentation)

• Highlight on the innovation process (Design and Development Technique & Demostration).
• The duration of video presentation can be a maximum of 5 minutes either in English or Bahasa Melayu to explain their innovation product.
• The video must be uploaded to their personal Drive (Google/onedrive) or YouTube channel.
