Course Overview
Double degree is a programme that involves studying two degrees at the same time and completing both degrees in a shorter duration. This programme allows student to extend their knowledge and skills in at least two different areas particularly in sciences and arts. Students will be taking courses from two different faculties, Faculty of Applied Sciences and Faculty of Arts & Design. Two types of Double Degrees are offered by the university:
• Bachelor of Science (Hons.) Textile Science & Fashion Technology AND Bachelor of Textile Design (Hons). (9 Semesters or 4.5 years)
• Bachelor of Science (Hons.) Textile Science & Fashion Technology AND Bachelor of Fashion Design (Hons). (9 Semesters or 4.5 years)
Entry Requirements
1. Matriculation or Asasi Sains
• CGPA 2.30 from Asasi UiTM, Asasi Sains UM, Matrikulasi KPM with
• Grade C (2.0) in three (3) of these subjects group: Chemistry/ Engineering Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics/Engineering Physics/Biology.
AND
Pass all the requirements set by the Faculty of Art and Design.
2. Diploma Graduates
• Pass SPM
• Credit in Bahasa Malaysia
• Graduated from government approved Universities / Polytechnics
• Diploma (CGPA 3.0 in relevant field)
• Diploma with CGPA 2.75 with 2 years of experience in relevant field
AND
Pass all the requirements set by the Faculty of Art and Design.
3. APEL
• Pass MQA + 7 Years working Experience + MUET (Band 2)
• Pass Faculty level interview.
