- Diploma in Science and Technology or Engineering with a minimum of CGPA 2.00 and MUET band 2
DIPLOMA GRADUATE FROM THE INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION RECOGNIZED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF MALAYSIA
- Graduate of IPT Diploma in Science and Technology or Engineering with a minimum of CGPA 2.75 and MUET band 2
- Graduate of IPT Diploma in Science and Technology or Engineering with two (2) years working experience in the field of Polymer Technology with a minimum of CGPA 2.50 and MUET band 2.
UiTM FOUNDATION/ UM SCIENCE FOUNDATION/ UKM FOUNDATION PINTAR/ KPM MATRICULATION GRADUATE
- Grade C (2.00) in three (3) subjects including Chemistry / Engineering Chemistry and the following subjects:
- Physics / Engineering Physics
- Mathematics
- Computer Science
With a minimum of CGPA 2.00 and MUET band 2
STPM GRADUATE/EQUIVALENT
- Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in the following two (2) subjects:
- Chemistry
- Mathematics (T) / Mathematics (M) / Physics
With a minimum of CGPA 2.00 and MUET band 2
MALAYSIAN SKILLS CERTIFICATE (SKM) DIPLOMA RECOGNIZED BY THE MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT
- Diploma SKM Level 4 and above in one the following areas:
- Plastic Production Assistant Manager (Thermoplastic) (PG-070-4)
- Plastic Production Manager (Thermoplastic) (PG-070-5)
- Plastic Production Assistant Manager (Thermoset)(PG-080-4)
- Plastic Production Manager (Thermoset) (PG-080-5)
- Latex Compounding Executive (RB-013-4:2016)
- Latex Compounding Manager (RB-013-5:2016)
- Rubber Quality Assurance Executive (RB-014-4)
- Rubber Quality Assurance Manager (RB-014-5)
- Composite Manufacturing Administration (MT-010-4:2013)
- Composite Manufacturing Management (MT-010-5:2013)
and recognized by the Government of Malaysia with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 and MUET band 2
AND
- Pass SPM / Equivalent with three (3) credits in Malay, Mathematics / Additional Mathematics, Physics / Chemistry / Graphic Design / Industrial Design / Computer Science as well as passing English
APEL (ACCREDITATION OF PRIOR EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING)
- Passed APEL Assessment (Aptitude and Portfolio test) by MQA
- Not less than 21 years old at year of application
- Work experience in related fields at least five (5) years
- Pass the interview at the Faculty level and MUET band 2
