Course Overview
The curriculum of this three and a half-year programme inclusive of a 4-months internship training, is designed to expose students to the applications of environmental technology for the monitoring and controlling processes in air, water and soil pollution. Particular emphasis is placed on analytical chemistry, biotechnology and environmental information system using integrated remote sensing technology and geographic information system (GIS). Students will be exposed to environmental management and occupational safety and health. Elective components will be offered to enhance their knowledge in ICT applications, resource management, successful entrepreneurs and green technology applications.
UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Pass SPM/equivalent with good grades.
- Pass Sejarah in SPM.
- Credits in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia in SPM/equivalent.
- Pass STPM with minimum Grade C in 3 subjects including Pengajian Am and minimum CGPA 2.00.
- Pass Matriculation/Foundation with minimum CGPA 2.00.
- Pass Diploma from higher learning institution recognized by the Malaysian Government.
- Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 1.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:
- Pass Diploma in any science, technology or engineering course from UiTM with minimum CGPA 2.00.
- Pass Diploma in any science, technology or engineering course from higher learning institution recognized by the Malaysian Government with minimum CGPA 2.75.
- Pass Diploma in any science, technology or engineering course from higher learning institution recognized by the Malaysian Government with minimum CGPA 2.50 and 2-years working experience in environment field.
- Pass foundation or matriculation with minimum Grade C in 3 subjects including Chemistry/Engineering Chemistry with minimum CGPA 2.00.
- Pass STPM with minimum Grade C in 2 subjects with minimum CGPA 2.00.
